| A GREAT COMBINATION – EASTER EGGS AND BBQ! At this year’s Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday, not only will you find lots of eggs but also lots of barbeque! We will be treated to a barbeque and hot dog lunch prepared by the “Jack of All Swine” BBQ team comprised of Lindenwood members! | FOOD FOR THOUGHT giving up one fast food or restaurant lunch per week during Lent and give the money you save to our Food for Families ministry. This is the SAMSAL (Skip a Meal, Save a Life) program that you are familiar with, revamped for Lent. One low to medium priced fast food meal per week (approx. $7) for the 7 weeks of Lent is only $49. If 99 people participate we will have all we need to finish the year of food packing ministry. Consider this for your physical health, spiritual health, and for the good you can do by this simple act. |

| “BROWN BAGS AND BOOKS" led by Dr. Buck, beginning Thursday, March 4, for four weeks. Bring a brown bag lunch, and the discussion will begin about 12:15. The book we will read and discuss is Saint Maybe by Ann Tyler, a story of wrestling with guilt, repentance, and “making amends.” Sign up on the tear off sheet or call the church office at 458-8506. |

| JOURNEY TO BETHANY XIII will be April 16-18. This year’s retreat will focus on how to benefit the most from daily Bible study. Dr. Ron Buck will be bringing messages on how to choose scripture readings, the difference between serious and devotional readings, ways to enhance our reading and devotional time and more. Nina writes the daily devotional book, Life Goes On… that is published and made available in the literature racks every month. |
| NEIGHBORHOOD GARDEN Get your work gloves and work boots ready! We need a host of volunteers to clear brush and debris, build raised beds, move mulch and topsoil, and get the site ready for MIFA’s Estival Place neighborhood residents to grow their own fresh vegetables. | MELIORIST THURSDAY MARCH 18TH IS THE NEXT MELIORIST TRIP. We are going to the Calvary Lenten Service where we will hear a spirited message from The Rev. Dr. Stacy Spencer.
