The Youth will not meet on Wednesday, October 8th.
You are invited to join Rev. Judith Reese for Luncheons in the Interim on Wednesday, October 8 at 12 noon in the Bell Conference Room. These luncheons can accommodate a maximum of twenty people. This will be a time to get to know Rev. Reese and help her get to know the Lindenwood family and its rich heritage of faith and discipleship. The cost of the lunch is $6.00. You may sign up using the insert that is included in Sunday’s bulletin or call the church office at 458-8506.
Lindenfest is October 25th from noon to 5 pm.
Tent or Treat for the children will be from noon till 1p.m.
We also plan to have "Kid Land". This will be an area specifically designated for children to bounce and play and will run the entire afternoon. Great music “The Fabulous Steeler Band” will begin at 1p.m. The goal this year is for everyone to invite 5 people. Bring them to our incredible church in a family friendly environment and let them fellowship with some of the most amazing people they will ever meet.
Booth leaders....please respond to me at ken.harlan@guilfordofmaine.com with your initial booth plan. Ex. We want to have a moon bounce. We want to paint faces. We want to......fill in the blank. Within a week would be nice. Sign-up sheets for electricity request etc. will be available Sunday. We plan to bring back the booth competition. Also start putting together your silent auction items. Mary Beth Sclater will be coordinating that effort again this year. It has historically been our largest fund-raising booth.
As usual....set up will begin Friday night the 24th – volunteers needed.
Fun for kids of all ages, October 29 come to the Halloween Carnival in the Underground between 6 and 7:30 p.m.
